The Synology RX1217sas 12-Bay NAS Expansion Unit (RX1217sas) allows you to expand your compatible Synology FlashStation or RackStation NAS’ capacity with 12 hot-swappable drive trays. The RX1217sas NAS expansion unit features 12 bays that support the installation of 2.5″/3.5″ SAS HDDs, 2.5″ SAS SSDs, and 2.5″/3.5″ SATA HDDs/SSDs, enabling you to make available an additional maximum raw internal capacity of 168TB for your NAS.
